🚗 Garages System Overview

🔹 Garage Types

There are two primary types of garages:

• Civilian Garages – for privately owned player vehicles.
• Job Garages – assigned to specific job roles (e.g., police, EMS, taxi).

Each garage can include various vehicle categories, such as:

• Cars
• Boats
• Helicopters
• Planes

Categories can be mixed depending on the garage configuration.

🔧 Garage Features

Players can:

• Inspect vehicles – view technical and ownership information.
• View vehicle stats – see stored mods, damage status, fuel level, and more.
• Transfer ownership – give the vehicle to another player (if permitted).
• Switch garages – move vehicles between garages.
• Bring vehicles to the current garage from another location (may require fee or cooldown).
• Set favorite vehicle – pin your most-used vehicle for quick access.
• Search for vehicles – filter by plate, model, or category.
• Drive off – take the vehicle out of storage to the world.

🛑 Impound System

If you can’t find your vehicle in a garage, there are two possible locations to check:

1. Impound Lot

This is the first place to look. Vehicles end up in impounds due to:

• Being destroyed
• Stolen and recovered
• Abandonment
• Certain server-side scripted events

🔍 Note: Impounds are also categorized:

• Plane Impound
• Helicopter Impound
• Boat Impound
• Car Impound

Make sure you're checking the correct impound lot based on your vehicle type.

2. Confiscated Lot

If your vehicle isn’t in an impound lot, it might have been confiscated by law enforcement, especially if:

• You broke the law
• You were involved in a robbery or criminal activity
• Your vehicle was linked to illegal actions

Once found in the confiscation lot:

• It may be on cooldown (you must wait before reclaiming).
• If not on cooldown, you’ll need to pay a fine.
• After payment, it will be moved to a specific impound lot for pickup.

👮 For Law Enforcement

To confiscate a vehicle:

1. Use the appropriate command or export as provided by your server developers.
2. Stand next to the vehicle – its license plate should auto-fill.
3. A yellow marker will appear on top of the vehicle.
4. Fill out the confiscation form.
5. The vehicle will be moved to the confiscated lot.

🕒 Want to just remove the vehicle from traffic without triggering cooldown? Select the "Confiscate Until" time as the current time when submitting the form.

🛠️ For Administrators

• /managevehicles View all server vehicles. Inspect, edit, spawn, or delete entries from the database.
• /inspectgarage <id | citizenid> View every vehicle associated with a player – online or offline.
• /givecar Instantly add a vehicle to a player’s garage (spawns the vehicle briefly to retrieve mod data, then stores it).
